The heart of WHISKY FOR LIFE ...

... beats at the store located at Fahrgesse 6 in Frankfurt, where there is a selection of about 2,000 malt whiskies, a good two-thirds of which are available for tasting.

One way to discover whiskies beyond these borders is to attend the numerous whisky fairs in Germany, which, with a few exceptions, are always “B2C fairs”—that is, designed for connoisseurs and whisky enthusiasts who want to sample a bottle or two.

So the best way to go to a whisky fair is in pairs or in groups of three, four, or more, pay the relatively affordable admission fee of 12 to 20 euros per person, order samples at the booths featuring whiskies that sound particularly intriguing, and then pass the glasses around the group. That’s the most fun way to do it!
