Prices, Shipping Costs, Payment, Due Date

(1) The prices listed include sales tax and other charges. Shipping costs may apply.

(2) The consumer may pay by prepayment, PayPal, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

(3) If the consumer has chosen to pay in advance, he or she agrees to pay the purchase price immediately after the contract is concluded.


Shipping costs

(1) Shipping within Germany

  • Orders up to €149.99 (including tax): DHL shipping €8.90
  • We cover shipping costs for orders of 150 euros (gross) or more.

(2) Shipping to other European countries

  • The customer is always responsible for handling customs clearance, paying taxes and duties, and similar matters. We are happy to provide any necessary documents upon request.
  • Due to possible changes, please email us for specific shipping costs at info@whiskyforlife.de ​

(3) Shipping zones

Zone 1, Austria, Netherlands: Base price €13.50 + approx. €1.50–2.00 per bottle, delivery time: 2–3 days

Zone, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Poland: Base price €14.50 + approx. €2.50–3.00 per bottle, duration: 2–3 days

Zone 3, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland: (base price €17.50 + approx. €3.00–3.50 per bottle, delivery time: 3–5 days)

Zone 4, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City, Andorra: Base price €19.00 + approx. €3.00–3.50 per bottle, duration: 3–5 days

Zone 5, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Gibraltar, Greece, Croatia, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Romania: Base price €21.00 + approx. €3.00–3.50 per bottle, delivery time: 5–7 days)

(4) We do not ship to Switzerland or the United States.

(5) Insurance – Packages are insured for the value of their contents through DHL.

  • from €500–€1,000/unit (€11.00 net / €13.00 gross)
  • from €1,000–€1,500/unit (€15.00 net / €18.00 gross)​
  • Starting at €1,500/purchase price (net = 1% of net purchase price / … gross)

Delivery

(1) Unless we have clearly stated otherwise in the product description, all items we offer are ready to ship immediately. Delivery will take place within 5 business days at the latest. In the case of payment in advance, the delivery period begins on the day after the payment order is sent to the bank handling the transfer; for all other payment methods, it begins on the day after the contract is concluded. If the end of the delivery period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday at the delivery location, the period ends on the next business day.

(2) Even in the case of a sale by mail order, the risk of accidental loss or accidental deterioration of the item sold does not pass to the buyer until the item is delivered to the buyer.


Retention of title

(1) We retain title to the goods until the purchase price has been paid in full.
